Due to the development of the Corona virus, all congresses and fairs for optometry worldwide had to be cancelled.Thousands of eye care specialists could not take part at their further education, including getting to know new products and technologies, or simply to exchange with other colleagues.
This drastic change has lead to the birth of the 1st International Virtual Optometry congress, with the main topic "vision therapy" or "vision training". It is launched under the name "i heart VT" purely online. The website is live since this week, and already shows a long list of great speakers:
The infrastructure is built by the MedTech startup Vivid Vision from California. The participation fee of 25 $ will 100% be donated to DirectRelief, who will use it to fight Covid19.
What can I expect at iheartVT?
- Presentations, workshops and exchanging experiences with colleagues
- In the languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Danish, Arabic, Mandarin and more
- Purely online, through the software "Zoom"
