New prices for July 1st 2021

From or during the Corona pandemic, many of our costs have increased. Some may be obvious, others will be described in this blog post. For a very long time, we have not increased our prices, in order to help our customers during the pandemic crisis.
No later than July 1st 2021 we will be adapting our prices of many products, as well as our shipping costs. The biggest factors are:
Higher import costs
- Increased list prices for freight (more expensive logistics worldwide)
- Longer processes at the German customs, more manual handling (higher staff costs)
- More intensive goods tests and higher custom fees
- Volume fees
- Higher error rate in delivered goods
Higher export costs
- Increased list prices of freight
- Higher fuel fees
- (Higher) Fees for delivery to remote areas
- Zuschläge für Zustellungen nach Großbritannien
Increased administrative costs
- Administration of documents, processes and products in the pandemic
- Sourcing of Corona products
- Longer processes due to the infection protection
Increased legal restrictions
- MDR/MPG: Additional processes and documentation duties, increased burocratic hurdles
- OSS/exportation in the EU: Significant additional processes in exportation to EU countries, and increased burocratic hurdles
In addition, there is an increase in inflation from 1,0 % to 2,5 % in the past 6 months.
